Nephrite Jade "Peace Buckle" Pendant Carved with Archaistic Patterns

This "Peace Buckle" (平安扣) pendant is carved from natural Hetian nephrite jade, featuring a striking two-tone coloration — a soft celadon white upper half that transitions into a deep, inky black at the base, a natural characteristic of the stone that the carver has skillfully incorporated into the design.

Both faces are densely engraved with archaistic (仿古) patterns inspired by ancient Chinese bronzeware and ritual jade: concentric geometric bands radiate from the center hole, framed by flowing cloud scrolls (云纹) and a band of classic key-fret (回纹) border along the lower edge.
